Shad Sterling

Shad Sterling has studied dance with Peter Sparling, Doug Verone, members of the Alvin Ailey and Martha Graham companies, the Atlanta Ballet, and countless others. He has performed with Peter Sparling & Co, the Ann Arbor Ballet Theatre, Ballethnic, the 7 Course Theatre Aerial Dance Ensemble, Ambianzo, Equilibris, and more. Since moving to Atlanta, he has focused on applying his sensibilities of expression and movement to handbalancing and aerial dance.

Jeff Anderson

In addition to handbalancing, Jeff Anderson is a student of Muay Thai and Krabbi Kabong, and has competed professionally. He has appeared in several independent films, including being a stunt double for John Rocker in The Greenskeeper.

Christy Hawkins

It all started in my Wonder Woman underoos, dancing for family and friends to the great music of Madonna. Later, in college, it became performance art to Billy Idol. Now it's balancing upside down and all around with Equilibris, designing and making many of the costumes, while spinning the fire hula-hoop.

Steve Seaberg

Visual Artist and former Gymnast, has taught art and acrobatics. A co-founder of Equilibris, he also performs with his poet wife as Seaberg Acrobatic Poetry. He is presently a member of Equilibris, and with his wife teaches acrobatics to kindergarten and first-graders at the Atlanta School.

Lauren Taglialatela

Lauren Baker, a former competitive gymnast and cheerleader, has been coaching gymnastics and performing and teaching dance and circus arts in the Atlanta area for almost 15 years. In her spare time, she persues a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology.

Sara Gregory

Sara Gregory has performed in Atlanta for over five years and has been trained in aerial arts for the past 12 years. She spent 15 years performing ballet and modern dance with Decatur School of Ballet and Beacon Dance Company. Now, she teaches children in difficulty circus arts with Cirque du Monde, a subset of Cirque du Soliel.
